A company that becomes a Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas member company with a donation of equity can tell its customers, suppliers and partners that while it presently does not have the proceeds to support today’s worthy community initiatives, it has allocated equity for the creation of a donor-advised philanthropic fund to support tomorrow’s efforts.  Later when the donor-advised fund has cash-value, a company has the flexibility regarding distribution of the proceeds. It does not have to give way the proceeds immediately; rather, it can set up its own schedule on when and who to donate proceeds to, with as little or as much consultation from the Entrepreneurs Foundation as it may desire.
