Spring Service Day 2008 at LifeWorks, Rodriguez Elementary, and Habitat for Humanity On May 9, 320 volunteers from 18 companies came out to participate in the Entrepreneurs Foundation annual Spring Service Day. Together, they converged on 6 different LifeWorks sites, Rodriguez Elementary School and Habitat for Humanity for a day of service and community building. Projects included interior and exterior painting, creating a community garden, fountain maintenance, and land beautification.
The volunteers' hard work and generosity made a lasting impression as noted by LifeWorks Director of Development and External Relations, Brett Barnes:
"On behalf of the staff, Board and most importantly the 10,000 clients that access our buildings and utilize our services each year, we wish to offer our deepest thanks to the hundreds of volunteers that dedicated (and sweated) their day to making our LifeWorks facilities more cheerful and cleaner. Our partnership with EF helped create each site as an atmosphere that honors our clients and makes them feel like valued members of our community." Thanks to our generous sponsors: CreditCards.com and Silicon Laboratories
