Fall Service Day 2005 During the fall 2005,Entrepreneurs FoundationofCentral Texas(EFCT) volunteers made a huge impact in the local community by giving of their time to help support Austin-area non-profit organizations. This fall, 143 volunteers from 10 EFCT companies donated over675 volunteerhours during one-day volunteer service opportunities with 6 different non-profit organizations. Collectively, our volunteers:

- Packed, moved and unpacked a library of over 12,000 books (including bookshelves) forCapital Area Reach out and Read, a local non-profit organization committed to promoting youth literacy for those less fortunate in the capital area.
- Sorted 11,100 pounds of food (equal to meals for 8,080 individuals in need) and 3,600 pounds of diapers for theCapital Area Food Bank.
- Mowed the lawn, planted flowers, cleared brush & cleaned up trash for theCenter for Child Protection, a non-profit organization committed to reducing the trauma to children during the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases.
- Completely re-furbished the home exterior for an elderly home-owner in East Austin throughHands on Housing. Volunteers power-washed & re-painted the home’s exterior & garage; replaced eaves, rotten sideboards and trim and beautified, cleaned up & mowed the back yard.
