Affordable Housing

The Entrepreneurs Foundation (EF) collaborated with East Austin’s Chestnut Revitalization Corporation and Chestnut Neighborhood Association to help meet the growing need for supportive housing in Austin. The effort assisted residents in implementing their strategic plan, offered leadership training, coordinated a home rehab/beautification effort, acquired new developments in the neighborhood and raised awareness of the neighborhood’s history and culture. In addition, EF partnered with Hands on Housing for the 2004 Raise the Roof event, where over 100 volunteers from the tech community were recruited to refurbish 6 owner occupied homes in the Chestnut Neighborhood.
