Corporate Social Opportunity Conference
The Entrepreneurs Foundation (EF) hosted a diverse mix of companies for a day-long corporate social responsibility conference in February 2009. As the first of its kind in Austin, the conference was an opportunity for participants to learn new corporate citizenship strategies and meet like-minded leaders of Austin’s best companies and share best practices. The day opened with a keynote speech on the social dimensions of corporate strategy from Harvard Fellow Mark Kramer, co-founder of FSG Social Impact Advisors. Other topics included CSR implementation, community engagement, environmental sustainability, CSR in human resources, and corporate non-profit partnerships. EF’s next CSR Conference is scheduled for spring 2011.
