“The ultimate expression of generosity is not in giving of what you have, but in giving of who you are.” —Johnnetta B. Cole
Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas volunteers give of their time, talent and energy to Central Texas non-profit organizations in need. Although EF volunteers come from a variety of different backgrounds and skill sets, they all have in common the desire to give back. Some volunteers are looking for one-time opportunities and some are looking for that one way that they can plug in time and time again. Some are new to Austin and looking for innovative ways to get involved and some are looking for specific ways that they can use their talents for our community’s benefit. Some are leading community involvement efforts in their companies and some have been volunteering all their lives, yet are looking for ways to give more. Some are looking to join boards or take leadership positions within organizations and some just want to know where to begin. The Entrepreneurs Foundation has the honor of working with so many wonderful individuals that are making a difference in our community.

- Volunteers met one-on-one with over 75 Huston-Tillotson students helping them create and edit their resumes.
- Volunteers designed websites for 2 high need AISD elementary schools and shared their tech-savvy expertise with 5 AISD elementary schools.
- Volunteers re-furbished the homes of seven elderly, low-income home-owners in East Austin in partnership with Hands on Housing.
- Volunteers participated in service days, launched corporate community involvement programs and stepped up to support evacuees of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
- This holiday season, volunteers adopted families and youth for True Light Day Care and Lifeworks, collected coats and money for Coats for Kids, signed up for the Community Tax Centers volunteer program, coordinated a Cajun Christmas Holiday dinner for Katrina evacuees at Fulmore Middle School and supported food, gift and clothing drives for several organizations coordinating holiday programs for their clients in need.
