EF Member Companies Step Up to Help Hurricane Victims!
When Hurricanes Katrina and Rita hit the Gulf Coast causing so many to lose so much, EF member companies responded both locally and in disaster related areas to help those in need.  Although there is no way to list all the amazing efforts of all of our EF companies, some highlights are listed below:

Organized an in-house silent auction that raised over $15,000 for relief efforts. Adopted families and supported families of their co-workers by proving housing, transportation, financial assistance and most importantly, a support structure. Granted over $12,000 to support non-profit relief efforts via their EFCT Donor Advised Funds. Coordinated food drives, clothing drives, toiletry drives and towel drives. Volunteered hours of man-power and moving trucks to the Capital Area Food Bank & countless hours onsite at the Austin Convention Center. Developed, launched and hosted the website www.katrinasafe.com, a website used by the American Red Cross to consolidate information on individuals separated from their families in the evacuation effort in order to reunite lost loved ones. Gathered blankets and towels to support the Humane Society’s efforts in the affected areas. Generously contributed to the High Tech Fund for Hurricane Relief, raising over $400,000 to support local organizations working to return our  new neighbors to a life of normalcy.
