Since 1999, over 175 entrepreneurial companies in Central Texas have donated equity to the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas.  To date, these donations of equity from predominantly venture capital-backed companies have generated approximately $1.4 million in cash and marketable securities for local non-profits.  The Entrepreneurs Foundation’s current portfolio contains equity from over 100 active companies. 
               
At the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas, our member companies challenge the conventional wisdom that corporate philanthropy and community involvement is the province of large corporations.   Increasingly, companies of all sizes are realizing that “giving back to the community is good business”.  The benefits of corporate citizenship can far exceed any costs and are realized in terms of employee morale, recruiting and retention, and in the strengthening a company’s brand or reputation.  The Entrepreneurs Foundation is continually astounded by the creativity and generosity of its member companies and encourages you to learn more about their successes.  The following are a few examples:
