Eugene Sepulveda, Chief Executive Officer

Eugene Sepulveda enjoys mixing people, organizations and causes--collaborating with others in business, community and government. Until 2008, he taught community development and cross global/cross cultural business at the University of Texas’ McCombs School of Business. Previously, he held positions in Austin’s high tech community including as the CFO for a semiconductor company, a consultant and a banker.

Eugene is an active community volunteer, serving on the boards of PeopleFund, the Austin Community Foundation and the Community Development Corporation. He’s a former board vice chair for the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, former chair of Leadership Austin and a founding director for LiveableCity. His advisory board positions include CIBER Texas and Greenlights for Nonprofit Success, as well as emeritus director for the Human Rights Campaign. He’s received many awards & recognitions for his community work and teaching, including from Austin Under 40, the Human Rights Campaign, City of Austin, McCombs MBA and undergraduate business students.

Amanda Chiampi is the Program Director for the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas. In this role, Amanda oversees all project and programming activities, manages the philanthropic contributions for realized equity donors, directs the corporate community involvement programs for member companies and supports the Foundation’s equity council and Leadership Projects.

Amanda graduated with honors from the University California at Santa Cruz with a BA in Global Economics. She received her Masters degree in Development Economics from the University of Sussex in England and is currently a graduate student of the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas. Before joining the Entrepreneurs Foundation, Amanda worked with ACCION, an international microfinance organization.


 

Shobie Partos, Program Manager

Shobie Partos is the Program Manager for the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas. In this role, Shobie works with member companies to develop and implement strategic community involvement programs in line with corporate goals. She serves as a liaison between the non-profit community and member companies. Shobie also assists with Leadership Projects and is responsible for the bi-monthly volunteer opportunity newsletter, Plugged-In.

Before arriving at the Entrepreneur's Foundation, Shobie worked in the film industry as a Location Manager and Location Scout. She is also a free-lance theatre director and the former Artistic Director of the Crested Butte Mountain Theatre. Shobie received a B.A. from Trinity University with a double major in Communications and Theatre and an M.F.A. in Directing from Carnegie Mellon University.

Peter Frey is the Project Manager for the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas. Peter works directly with the Program Director and Program Manager on supporting leadership programs, newsletter planning and execution, development of communication materials, volunteer management, event scheduling, and general operational responsibilities.

Peter graduated from Saint John’s University in May of 2008 with a BA in Political Science. His early exposure to service has developed into a passion for the social sector, in which he is currently active in both Austin and Minneapolis.
